Therapy for Executive Leaders & Coaching for Career Transitions

I am a clinical psychologist with extensive experience in executive leadership roles in higher education and healthcare.

My current practice focuses on executive leaders in higher education, health care, and humanitarian aid organizations who are seeking a therapist who knows what happens to executive leaders.

I also work with educators and senior health and human service providers who are planning a career transition or exploring how to embrace a satisfying retirement.

I provide a safe space for individuals seeking a highly skilled therapist who truly understands the impact of demanding executive leadership roles, as well navigating unrelenting expectations and demands.

With a  clinical and consulting practice that has spanned four continents I bring intercultural wisdom to my clients.

Previously I directed clinics serving victims of violence, served as Director of Clinical Training for doctoral psychology training programs and supervised countless therapists as they have launched their careers.

I have also been a professor, researcher, and executive leader including serving as a university president.

About my Services

Devoting your life and career to the service of others while being incredibly accomplished does not exempt you from psychological distress. And, there is no quick fix, no manual or handbook for dealing with it.  Executive leaders are often unfamiliar with asking for help for personal issues and figuring out who to trust for help can be daunting.

My practice is specifically tailored to meet the needs of executive leaders because all services are delivered by a highly skilled clinical psychogist who also brings the perspective of having served as senior executive in higher education and health care sectors for over 15 years.
